Jason & Beth’s Mississippi Wedding is probably always going to stick out as one of my favorite weddings ever. They are the sweetest couple with such a heart for Jesus. I loved how they spoiled their bridal party. I loved how they were just lost in each other’s eyes. I loved how they didn’t seem to worry about anything around them, they just enjoyed their day to the fullest.
And lets talk about style for a minute. I thought it was perfect. Not overdone, not too simple. Beth was so smart in her choices. She only had 2 sets of drinks on her bridal table, both of which could be filled as soon as the wedding was over. It allowed us to have plenty of time to capture all of her details because she didn’t have a lot of completely last minute details to add. I loved that she had linen napkins for all the guests rather than paper. Such a simple thing makes the overall wedding décor much classier.
We started the day with getting ready photos at the bride’s home, and then a first look with her dad. Followed by couple photos at a beautiful antebellum house, and bridal party photos at a local college. I love when brides choose photo locations with architecture – it adds so much to photos!
The wedding and reception were held at a beautiful venue called the pavilion. So gorgeous. Lots of natural light, and plenty of space.
We slipped away after the reception ended for a few couple photos to end the day. It was sprinkling on us, but it held off while we finished up the photos, thankfully!

I loved that they chose to read letters they had written for each other and have a time of prayer together during their first look. So special, and meaningful. These are the moments that fuel what a wedding day is, to me, as a photographer.
Their bridal party was one of the most comfortable, nicest bridal parties. When it’s mostly the couple’s siblings, it tends to be that way. Such a good thing.
Prayer before the ceremony.
So many sweet speeches by their family and friends. I learn so much about my couples during this part of the day.
Huge congratulations, Jason & Beth! If your marriage is as beautiful as your wedding day, it’s going to be a lovely rest of your lives. Wishing you all God’s blessings!
love, Lisa
