What a beautiful wedding day this was! I am so happy for Matt and Kaylyn!! Kaylyn is a fellow photographer so it was an incredible honor to be asked to capture their own special day.
It was also one of the coldest wedding days I have photographed in a while. My assistant told me that the warmest it got during the couple photos was 28 degrees. For this southern girl, that’s brrrr! 🙂

Kaylyn took a moment to write a letter in the journal that she and Matt had written letters back and forth in while they were dating. Such a sweet thing to be incorporated into a wedding day.
Kaylyn opted to only have her maid of honor there to help her get ready instead of all her bridesmaids and I thought that was very special!
We started in the dark but I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos of her flowers on this chair as the light came in the room! Kaylyn’s flower choices were so beautiful and unique!!
Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Horst! Wishing you all the happiness and blessings as you begin your lives together.
